The William Caspar Graustein Memorial Fund awarded a $1,500 grant to The Springs Learning Center as a part of its Learning Changes Lives program.

The Fund states its mission is "to achieve equity in education by working with those affected and inspiring all to end racism and poverty."

The Springs Learning Center provides English language tutoring primarily to the immigrant population in New Haven, striving to provide equitable education that helps improve the careers and lives of those who learn.
